Next Gen Events Collective (NGEC) — Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending any event hosted by Next Gen Events Collective (“NGEC,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not purchase a ticket or attend.
2. Tickets and Payment
- All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.
- Ticket credit may be transferred to a future NGEC event per our Refund Policy, by emailing rielle@ngecchicago.com. Requests made within 24 hours of the event may not be eligible for credit transfer.
- Tickets are non-transferable to another person unless otherwise stated at time of purchase.
- NGEC reserves the right to refuse entry or revoke a ticket for violation of these Terms.
3. Event Changes and Cancellations
NGEC reserves the right to modify event dates, times, venues, or programming, or to cancel an event, at its discretion. In the event of cancellation by NGEC, attendees will be notified and credit will be issued per our Refund Policy.
4. Code of Conduct
Attendees agree to behave professionally and respectfully toward other attendees, staff, vendors, and venue personnel. NGEC reserves the right to remove any individual from an event, without refund, for conduct that is disruptive, harassing, unsafe, or unlawful.
5. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
Attendance at NGEC events is voluntary. To the fullest extent permitted under Illinois law, attendees assume all risk of injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in or travel to/from an NGEC event, and release NGEC, its organizers, staff, and venue partners from liability for such injury, loss, or damage, except where caused by NGEC’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6. Media Release
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded at NGEC events, and grant NGEC the right to use such media for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without compensation. Contact rielle@ngecchicago.com to opt out in advance.
7. Intellectual Property
All NGEC branding, event materials, and content are the property of NGEC and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration is used solely for event administration and NGEC communications. NGEC does not sell attendee data to third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
NGEC’s total liability arising from any event or these Terms is limited to the amount paid for the applicable ticket.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NGEC and its organizers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your conduct at an event.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or an NGEC event shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
13. Changes to These Terms
NGEC may update these Terms at any time. Continued attendance at NGEC events after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Next Gen Events Collective (“NGEC,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
- Registration and Ticketing Information: name, email address, and payment details when you purchase a ticket or register for an event, collected through our website (WooCommerce) and processed via our payment processor, Stripe.
- Communications: information you provide when emailing us (e.g., rielle@ngecchicago.com) or submitting a form.
- Event Media: photos and video captured at events, per our Media Release (see our Terms and Conditions).
- Website Usage: basic analytics data (e.g., pages visited) if you visit our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process ticket purchases and event registration
- Communicate with you about events, credits, or account notes
- Send event-related updates, receipts, and marketing communications
- Improve our events and website
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers, including WooCommerce (ticketing/registration) and Stripe (payment processing), solely to perform those services on our behalf
- Venue partners, as needed for event logistics
- Legal authorities, if required by law
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including maintaining account notes related to ticket credits.
5. Your Choices
- You may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing rielle@ngecchicago.com.
- You may opt out of media use in advance by emailing rielle@ngecchicago.com.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
NGEC events and services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
